I got the larger size lobster roll, the bread was warm, but the lobster was cold, I would have preferred if they asked about warming it up. Otherwise just ok food, service was good

Hot Lobster Roll was perfect, friendly and just what you hoped for. Fresh bread, excellent soup as well.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Luke’s Lobster did not disappoint! The Hot Lobster Roll was absolutely perfect—packed with fresh, sweet lobster meat and served just the way you’d hope for. The roll itself was warm, buttery, and fresh, making each bite feel indulgent but balanced. The bread was outstanding, soft with just the right amount of crispness on the edges. Pairing it with their soup was the best choice—rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want on the side.
On top of the great food, the service was warm and friendly, adding to the whole experience. Everything felt fresh, thoughtful, and true to what you’d hope for in a classic lobster roll spot.

We dropped by Luke’s Lobster – Downtown Crossing and really enjoyed the experience. The place is quite small with limited seating, but that’s part of its charm — think “lobster shack in the city.”
The crab roll we ordered was vey good — fresh, tasty, and priced pretty reasonably for downtown Boston. The food came out fast (under 10 minutes), which was impressive considering how busy it gets. The service was friendly, fast, and professional, making the visit relaxed and pleasant.
Luke’s is located on Washington Street in the heart of downtown, so it’s perfect for grabbing a bite while you’re walking around the city or shopping. The interior is cozy and a bit tight, so many diners opt to take their orders and eat while walking or standing.
If you’re in downtown Boston and craving a solid seafood roll without the fuss, Luke’s is a solid pick.

I understand that it's a seafood spot, but a couple more land lover options would be cool. For kids or others in groups who don't eat seafood. I could see how it could result in people going else where. However, the food was good and the atmosphere was chill.

The traditional, warm lobster roll from Luke's is one of those things where you savor each and every bite and are sad when it is finished. The service on this occasion was outstanding! If you come to Boston and don't eat a lobster roll, did you even go to Boston? More

Delightful experience. Quick and delicious meal. My husband and I each had a lobster roll. He had the lobster bisque and I had the clam chowder. Relaxed and casual atmosphere. There is no alcohol here but a variety of Bottled sodas is offered. More

Cheeky Lobster roll, very juicy, fresh, and buttery flavour. Got the smallest option for the lobster: 110 grams of lobster in roll with garlic butter, a pack or chips, and a drink all for $28. Think this is a great price to value if you want to try lobster roll as a snack during your walk through the freedom trail. More

Great lobster roll, a little pricey, but hey- it's Boston and it's lobster. They have multiple locations, but this one in particular was really nice and the staff was very friendly. More

Visiting Boston for work, I knew I had to take advantage of being up north and finally try some truly fresh seafood—a big change from what I’m used to back home in Georgia. Luke’s Lobster ended up being everything I hoped for and more.
From the moment I walked in, the vibes pulled me in. The mix of easygoing music, a cozy atmosphere, and the kind young ladies working behind the counter made the space feel instantly welcoming. Even though the restaurant is small, it has a warm, home-like feeling—clean, quiet, and comfortable. If I lived in Boston, this would absolutely be one of my regular spots.
I ordered the seafood roll flight, which came with a drink and chips, and I couldn’t resist adding the lobster bisque. Everything was outstanding. The chilled seafood paired with the warm, buttery roll was a perfect balance—simple, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite felt like something I wanted to experience all over again. The bisque was rich, comforting, and full of that fresh lobster flavor you can’t fake.
Luke’s Lobster exceeded every expectation I had. For anyone visiting Boston—or lucky enough to live there—it’s a spot I’d highly recommend. Fresh, delicious, and full of great energy.

When in Rome… or Boston, I always make sure to get by Luke’s. A delicious and responsible choice for a special seafood treat. As a GF gal, this place scores 5 stars across the board for their dedication to my allergy safety, five extra stars for having GF clam chowder and lobster bisque. The products are all sustainably sourced and traceable. I appreciate spending my dollars here. Where the staff seems cared for, there is a clear dedication to consistency & quality, and the Maine Blueberry Lemonade tops off this inconspicuous culinary gem every single time with joyful delight.

If you don’t know where else to get a lobster roll, just come to Luke’s. You only need to get one roll, and remember it’s lobster rolls not lobster salad rolls. You can get those at Quincy market… lobster rolls are without the mayo and just claws More

It’s just as delicious as the reviews say! The soda they offer is also very tasty and unique. There are three different sizes, each with a corresponding price. For a lobster roll, the price seems quite reasonable. More
